Directors statement
In Number 4 (self-portrait with Mattias) I investigate one of the most complex relationships in my own life: the close relationship with a grieving friend. In a fragmentary way, I show the subtle but profound impact of grief on friendships and relationships. This film is a personal and intimate (self)portrait about love, loss and how grief can cause two people to lose each other against their will.
