Tessa Kortmulder (Amsterdam, 2000) graduated from the Fine Art department at the Utrecht School of the Arts in 2023, focusing primarily on filmmaking. She graduated with a 25-minute road movie, titled Whether I’d Pass Lyon, and is currently writing her next short fiction film. In her films, Tessa strives to combine her passion for language, imagery, poetry, and music with her deep interest in human behavior, intimacy, and communication.
In addition to her work as a film director and screenwriter, Tessa has experience as an assistant director in both theater and opera.
